DMCA & Copyright Policy

MongoEngine.org respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws elsewhere.

To File a Notice

Send the following to contact@mongoengine.org:

1. A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
2. The exact URL on mongoengine.org or docs.mongoengine.org where it appears.
3. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email).
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you’re authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to the material promptly.

Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the material removed, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed in error.

For urgent reports involving minors, also contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (CyberTipline) or your local authorities directly.
